Starting in karting at age 9, David starts his 34th year of racing in 2013. Beginning in 1980 with 8 years of karting followed by 25 years with the Can-Am Midgets David expanded to a 2 car TQ Midget team in 2002. Drivers who have driven for the team include: Dave McKnight Jr., Stefan Haas, Keith Dempster, Daniel Bois, Tyler Mackereth, Jonathon Treadwell, Gary Klutt and Rob Divenanzo. The current TQ Midgets are hand build single seat purpose built race cars powered by 4 cylinder motor cycle engines.
